Creativity Rising: Selected Student Artwork from the Fairfield University Studio Art Program celebrates student work from a variety of courses, including sculpture, photography, printmaking, painting and drawing.

Fairfield University’s Studio Art Program promotes the development of creative inquiry, expression of ideas, and critical thinking. Students use both traditional as well as new materials and techniques to enhance visual expression and problem-solving. Through art-making, discussion, reading, writing, and visiting museums and galleries, students expand their understanding of visual art and its processes, while gaining analytical skills and factual knowledge in order to aid their perception of art and of the world.
