Beyond H2O: The Science of Water

Beyond H2O: The Science of Water

To kick off the university-wide water focus theme for this fall semester, come visit
Beyond H2O: the Science of Water,
on display from September 15 – December 20, 2014
at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library.

Featuring artifacts and research from Dr. Jennifer Klug (Biology), Dr. Gary Weddle (Chemistry), Dr. Kraig Steffen (Chemistry) and Dr. Bruce Berdanier (Engineering), the exhibit demonstrates the interaction of water with science, ecology and sustainability.  Talking points include the real cost of plastic water bottles, the value of salt marshes in our local area, and the search for life on other planets.

To schedule a brief lecture/tour of the exhibit for your students, please feel free to contact the faculty curator of the exhibit Dr. Kraig Steffen at lsteffen@fairfield.edu.  For more information regarding this or future library exhibits, contact Elise Bochinski at ebochinski@fairifeld.edu.
