Establishing a Scholar Showcase Profile

Eligibility:

  • Scholar Showcase profiles are available to Fairfield University faculty and staff members who contribute content to DigitalCommons@Fairfield.

  • The DigitalCommons@Fairfield Team at the Library will create your Scholar Showcase Profile page for you.

Creating a Profile:

  • First, contact the DigitalCommons@Fairfield Team at digitalcommons@fairfield.edu and send your CV or other information regarding any content you would like added to the institutional repository, DigitalCommons@Fairfield.

  • The DigitalCommons@Fairfield Team will conduct all the necessary rights-checking and metadata gathering and the permissible content will be uploaded into DigitalCommons@Fairfield.

  • After your content has been loaded into the repository, the DigitalCommons@Fairfield Team will create your Scholar Showcase profile and “collect” all the content in DigitalCommons@Fairfield over to your newly created profile.

  • You will receive an automatically generated email once your Scholar Showcase profile is visible on our site. At that time you may go into your account and edit it as you see fit.

  • Once your profile has been created, it is recommended that you share the URL in your email signature and on your personal webpage.

NOTE: It is very important to have all permissible content first loaded into DigitalCommons@Fairfield to avoid technical and access issues. Thank you for your cooperation. Your questions are welcomed via digitalcommons@fairfield.edu.
