Best Selling Books

New York Times

Authoritatively ranked lists of books sold in the United States, sorted by format and genre. Rankings reflect unit sales reported on a confidential basis by vendors offering a wide range of general interest titles published in the United States. Every week, thousands of diverse selling locations report their actual sales on hundreds of thousands of individual titles. The panel of reporting retailers is comprehensive and reflects sales in tens of thousands of stores of all sizes and demographics across the United States.


Publisher's Weekly

Weekly news magazine focused on the international book publishing business. It is targeted at publishers, booksellers, librarians, literary agents, authors and the media. It offers feature articles and news on all aspects of the book business, bestsellers lists in a number of categories, and industry statistics, but its best known service is pre-publication book reviews, publishing some 9,000 per year.

The Library has a Popular Reading Collection which consists of many New York Times print best sellers. It is located on the main level of the Library near the Young Adult books, graphic novels collections, and newspapers/magazines.
