IMG_6780Some may argue that March is one of the best months of the year. Spring and Summer are right around the corner, school wraps up in a month, and the weather becomes a lot warmer! March is also Women's History Month! Why not celebrate such a important holiday by coming down to the DiMenna-Nyselius library to pick up a few books or CDs? We have a wide variety of materials ranging from Hillary Clinton's Hard Choices to Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. On March 19th, Ugetsu, a 1953 Japanese film directed by Kenzi Mizoguchi, will be shown in the DiMenna-Nyselius Multimedia Room at 7pm. Ugetsu is a story of fighting, romance, family and determination which takes place during the Japanese Civil Wars (1500s). Two husbands set out with a goal of making quick cash, but as they start receiving their profits, they are forced to make important decisions pertaining to their lives as husbands and members of their families.
