All Love: An LGTBQ Film Series
In celebration of LGBTQ History Month, Fairfield University presents a series dedicated to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) experiences through film on three consecutive Tuesdays in October. All films are free and open to the general public. Light refreshments will be served and all screenings will take place in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library Multimedia Auditorium on the lower level of the library. These films are First Year Experience (FYE) approved events.
Final LGBTQ Film Series event:
Tuesday, November 1st:
1pm - screening of the original 1970 groundbreaking gay film, Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band.
7pm - screening of the 2011 documentary, Making the Boys about the road from conception to Broadway show to Hollywood film for this gay story just one year after the Stonewall riots!
