Hello! This course guide has been created for students enrolled in an NUTR 7020: Community Nutriton course. In this guide, you will find several resources intended to help with your community needs assessment project.

Below is a description of the pages found in the menu above:

• Research Guides - Provides a link to the Nutrition research guide, which contains a wide variety of library resources relating to the Nutrition field.
• Food/Agriculture Statistics & Datasets - A collection of statistics and datasets related to food and agriculture from our statistics and datasets guide.
• Research Tutorials - Useful how-to guides that cover the basics of library research. You can always ask a Librarian for help (contact info to the right), but these guides are handy, too!
• Citation Resources - Provides a link to the APA citation guide, and information on how to use the citation management software Zotero if you're interested.

In addition to the resources linked to below, consider searching for local health departments. For example, the town of Fairfield has a Health Department.
