The technologies outlined in this guide are examples of applications that can help streamline your workflow and increase your productivity. These applications all adhere to our 3 main strategies for increasing productivity:
When we say "cloud," what we really mean is web-based rather than machine based. All of the applications on this guide have a web component in addition to desktop versions or versions for a mobile device. The advantage to cloud based applications is that you can access your resources from any internet connection.
All of the resources featured here also have mobile versions, available for a variety of devices. Finding productivity tools that are available through your phone or tablet means you don't need your computer to access your data.
Combine resources and access points whenever possible. Develop workflows that can take advantage of multiple ways to access data, use tools that aggregate news and information for you, and, where possible, leverage the tools you already use.
