Finding Books & Related Media

In addition to being useful resources themselves, books (print and electronic) can help you to get overviews on broad topics and to identify citations to related sources (among other things).

In order to find books in either catalog, conduct either a relevant:

Keyword Search, for example:

  • "jazz age" AND ("political influence" or "economic influence")
  • "Harlem Renaissance"
  • wom* AND "roaring twenties"

     Subject Search

  • Jazz Age
  • Nineteen Twenties

         (To find more subject headings, look on the catalog records of relevant books or limit your searches to the subject field.)
