Citation Styles

In academic writing, there are many different citation styles. Here are a few of the most common, and their related disciplines. In other words, no matter the type of writing, it’s always critical to provide credit for other people’s thoughts and ideas. In academic writing, there are discipline-specific rules for how to cite sources. The next page will discuss these different citation styles.
