Sharing Capabilities

You are able to share folders in RefWorks with other RefWorks users. The easiest way to do this is to create a folder you would like to share and add all of the references you would like to share to it (you can only share folders, not individual references).

Add a folder.


Next, click the folder you would like to share and click the more options button next to the folder title. Click "Share Folder".

Next you will need to enter the email of the person(s) you wish to share this folder with. When selecting the role you will have 3 options: Can Read, Can Annotate, Can Modify.

Can Read - Cannot edit any references or annotate uploaded documents.

Can Annotate  - Can annotate documents but cannot edit references.

Can Modify - Can annotate and edit/add references to shared folder.

Set sharing settings.
