Part 1: Scholar Settings
You can use the Article Search below (also the "Articles" tab on the library homepage) to locate book reviews. In the search box, enter keywords from the book title and the author's name. When you are on the results page, uncheck Full Text Online and check Peer Review. Under "Content Type" uncheck Journal Article and check Book Review.

Advanced SearchBefore searching in a specialized subject database, you might want to try a broad interdisciplinary database, like our new All Search tool.
The following databases can be used to find book reviews published in peer reviewed journals.
In additon to this, it may be helpful to note that some tools such as JSTOR and Arts & Humanities Citation Index have options for discovering other works which have cited your chosen book. Google Scholar is another tool for locating citation references.
