Access NYT, WSJ, Chronicle of Higher Ed, and Browzine: Chronicle of Higher Education

On Campus Access

 


From any computer while on campus, full access to the Chronicle of Higher Education is automatic. Simply go to http://chronicle.com.

Please remember that the the Chronicle of Higher Education uses the “lock” icon to indicate premium content – the icon does not mean you don’t have access, simply click on the article title and it will display.

From an iPad


1. Open the iPad App Store.
2. Find The Chronicle app and select the download option. You will be asked for your iTunes/Apple ID username and password, enter it in and then your app will download and install.
3. Once installed, tap to open The Chronicle app.
4. When the app opens up, tap “Sign In” on the top left.
5. Enter and confirm your campus e-mail

Tips and Tricks

Sign up for email alerts from the Chronicle of Higher Education:

Sign @ http://chronicle.com/page/Newsletters/621 to receive newsletters via email.

Off Campus Access

Go to Chronicle.com and click on the “Log In” link at top, right hand side of the web page. Choose the “Create a Free Account” option. Enter and confirm your campus e-mail address, then follow the steps on the account setup page.
 

Note: If you have already set up a Chronicle of Higher Education free account for receiving  alerts or newsletters using your @fairfield.edu email, you don’t have to set up anything new.  If you are logged in already, just log out of the site and log back in.

From Mobile Devices

IF YOU’RE IN MOBILE VIEW:
1. Go to Chronicle.com on your device’s Web.
2. Scroll down to click the “Log In” .
3. Enter and confirm your campus e-mail address, then follow the steps on the account setup pages.

IF YOU’RE IN THE STANDARD VIEW:
1. Follow the “If you’re off campus: computer” steps.
