Inserting an Image
The easiest way to insert an image is to have the image available to you already online with a corresponding url. How do you find the url of an image? If you right button click on an image, and select Properties, you can copy the url from there.
Look for the Add Media button on the top right of each new post area. Click on the one entitled image and enter the url and description. If you do not have an url you can upload the image.
Example: Flickr account -

Widgets
What is a Widget?
A widget is an add-on that you can install on your blog to add features or functionalities for your users. They generally appear in the right or left sidebar of your blog.
How do I find and install widgets?
You can find widgets through the WordPress Plug-in Directory: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/. Once you find the plugin you want, send the URL to Sam Cohen at CNS and ask him to install it for you. Once he notifies you that it has been installed, go to the plugins section of your admin panel and activate the plugin. Once activated, you will see the widget as available in the widgets section of your admin panel (under the design tab).
Inserting a YouTube Video
Adding a YouTube video to a post is easy.
First find the YouTube Video you want to add. On the right hand side of the YouTube video page you should see the area called Embedded Coding. Go ahead and copy that coding.
Go back to the blog posting you want to add the video tube to. Put your mouse where you want the video to go in the posting. Click on the html tab on the top right of the edit box. Then paste the YouTube coding into the post.
Don't forget to save your work.
