Facilitating Discussion

Fall 2010 Discussion Group

With this faculty/staff discussion group, we hope to engage one another around important questions of academic integrity and plagiarism.  Our goal is to develop a better understanding of student attitudes, and of best practices that faculty and staff can embrace to help guide students towards academic honesty.

We are happy to report Fairfield University has joined the Center for Academic Integrity.  For our first meeting, we invite you to read the Center for Academic Integrity’s online document "The Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity"

  • We will follow this by two meetings in the Spring where we will be discussing Rebecca Moore Howard's Standing in the Shadow of Giants.
