  • ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials
    ATLA Religion Database provides full text of major religion and theology journals. All major religious faiths, major denominations, and language groups are included.   • Catholic Periodical and Literature Index
    Catholic Periodical and Literature Index Online is the product of a partnership between ATLA and the Catholic Library Association. Includes indexed citations to articles published in Roman Catholic periodicals, papal documents, church promulgations, and books about the Catholic faith that are authored by Catholics and/or produced by Catholic publishers.

  • When searching databases, use AND, OR, and parentheses to focus your search.
  • The asterisk * symbol will search for all variations of a word. For example: basket* will search for baskets and basketry. Using quotes will search for a phrase.
  • Combine synonyms with OR and put them inside parentheses, like this:
(bapti*) AND (gospel OR "new testament")
